- The building does not open to students until 8:15am in the mornings unless its raining or extremely cold.
- If your child is out sick with the flu, chicken pox, or any contagious illness, please call or email the school to let us know.
- If your child is not feeling well at school, remind them to report to the nurse. Sometimes the student calls or text you without reporting to the nurse. When the student reports to the nurse, she will call his/her parents.
- Check Parent View daily.
- Monitor your child's Social Media activity. A student can receive school consequences, if their posts (about someone or the school) carry over to the school and cause a school disruption.
PBIS Store Donations Needed
Tapp is implementing a school-wide Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports System (PBIS). We are using this program to help our students have a safe, positive learning environment, and to provide consistency at our school. In order to ensure the success of PBIS, it is imperative that we reward students, teachers and staff for displaying positive behaviors that reflect a dedication to learning and citizenship. Tapp Middle School has a very limited budget and we are asking for donations that can be used as rewards for our students who display consistent positive behavior. Donations of any size are greatly appreciated and will be recognized in our monthly school letter and in print materials created to promote PBIS in our school. Additionally, your child will receive 10 PBIS points for every donation made. We are requesting the following donations: chips, candy, pencils, erasers, paper, spiral notebooks, and/or bottled water. Donations can be dropped off at the school’s front office! You can drop them off in person or you can send them to school with your child and they can take them to the front office when they arrive at school. This is ongoing for the entire school year. Thank you for your time and consideration. We appreciate your dedication to the education of our youth. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Tapp Middle School PBIS Team
