Little Corn Island, Nicaragua
Yoga Retreat with Arline Jernigan July 15-22nd 2016
Remote. Pristine and a little slice of Paradise...
Little Corn Island is approximately 90km off the Caribbean coast of Nicaragua. It is tiny, pristine and undiscovered by the masses. Where else in the Caribbean can you only come and go by panga boat? No cruise ships, no crowds, no all-inclusive hotels…just a beautiful tropical paradise that sways to rhythm of its African roots and culture. Just 3 square km of “off-the-beaten-track” nature and white sand beaches, coral reefs, little backpackers cabanas and local restaurants make this place feel special. Home to a permanent population of only around 700 individuals speaking mainly Creole English, you will find a way of life here that still celebrates simplicity…fresh coconut water whenever you feel like it, fish from the sea and fruit dropping from trees wherever you wander

Step into your bright and open 600 sq ft eco-chic cabaña, relax into hand-made mahogany,
Cedar and Brazilian cherry wood furniture underneath tall ceilings. Freshen up in your rainforest shower using our local organic soaps and shampoos. Catch a breeze on your private outdoor verandah while you ponder everything or nothing.

Our Teacher Arline Jernigan
As a teacher my intention is to create a space that is peaceful, vivacious and supportive for people to explore their abilities, and to move beyond limited beliefs. My passion is to provide tools that empower students to take responsibility for their quality of life. My approach is a combination of precision to alignment and intuition, strength and fluidity, and wisdom in action, all initiated by the breath. It is pure creative vinyasa flow.
