Happy New Year From CAABSE!

Greetings to all CAABSE members, and friends:

2020 has been full of its struggles with the spotlight on the continuing civil unrest following the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery and the global pandemic, which has had a significant impact on communities of color, particularly Black communities across the country. CAABSE was created as a response to these hardships, as we hope to provide avenues of support to Black students and Black educators in Central Texas.

Our first recruitment meeting was quite a success, with 60 attendees, invested in learning more about our organization and what they can do to help. In 2021, we are designing programs and networking opportunities for our area. We look forward to following the advice of John Lewis and getting into "good trouble, necessary trouble, and redeem the soul of America."

TABSE celebrates the legacy of Dr. Dennis Dunkins

We celebrate the life of Tarrant County education Pioneer and TABSE Co-Founder Dr.
