CA Update 5-8-16

Home of the Braves

Happy Mother's Day! I hope everyone can enjoy the nice weather as they celebrate Mother's Day.

On Friday, the entire CA Student Body, Faculty and Staff cheered on our Special Olympic Athletes and Helpers as they returned home from the Special Olympics at North Rose Wolcott high school late Friday. Hearing and seeing the police escort and members of The Sound plus over 1,000 cheering fans line the bus loop exudes what it means to be a Brave,

Have a Great Week!

Your Principal,

Vern Tenney

FLCC Instant Admin Day - May 12

Principal Achievement Award

If your student did not hand in their Principal's Achievement Award application with a letter to the principal, please have them do so by Wednesday. Some students were told it was not required. This is a required element of the award program. It provides me with the opportunity to hear the student's voice as they comment on what they have accomplished at CA. It is not meant to be anything elaborate. I find hearing a student's voice as they reflect on their year to be a very important part of this process so much so that I will extend the deadline to Wednesday.

Thanks!
