Counselor's Corner

This week, we officially started final exams at Gray Stone Day School. Students taking AP classes have prepared for these rigorous exams and are now able to show what they have learned. These exams will last through next week, then students have two and a half weeks to review for EOCs and non-AP final exams before they start on May 26th. This can be a stressful and anxiety-provoking time for students, staff, and families.

I had some help with today’s Counselor’s Corner from my daughter who is a 9th grader here at GSDS. She will be taking her first AP exam next week, and this has led to discussions at home about how to deal with the stressors of exams. She created a flier that I wanted to share with you all as these may be things that would be helpful for all of our students as exam season is upon us. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.

~Be well, Mrs. Allred-McGee
