Currently, EcoLand certified, Region 7, Head Start, Pre K, PPCD and Kindergarten teachers are eligible to register for one visit September 15th, 2015- May 2016. On January 4th, registration will open back up for teachers! EcoLand certified teachers will be able to register for one additional visit during the remainder of the 15/16 school year. EcoLand Tips & Tricks...
There are a few simple things that you can do to help make your experience a success!
- Make sure to look for your activities log in on your confirmation letter! This will allow you access to both pre & post activities for your pod.
- Access the online resources throughout the EcoLand site to assist you in training your volunteers.
- Make sure your paperwork is completed in its entirety and fax/ scan it at least one week prior to your trip. Don't forget... your administrators signature is REQUIRED on the Adult Training Verification form.
- Bring at least one girl and one boy change of clothes! Accidents do happen!
Thing 1 & Thing 2 Have Arrived!
We are excited to announce the arrival of Thing 1 & Thing 2, our new chinchillas! Children love observing these soft creatures as they roll in volcanic ash for a bath, eat special cookie treats or jump 5 feet in the air to run and hide at the top of their cage!
