the government treats everyone equally and they have the right to do it so nothing bad happens and won’t go back to the bad days.

Summary In "Harrison Bergeron" and "The Lottery", in both short stories they focus on the community being fair. The government in wanted everyone to be fair so they force wear special gadgets and in “the lottery” they pulled names randomly so anyone could be picked and not be unfair.
