Staying in the Loop!
- WELCOME! Mr. Cohen, Supervisor of Education to BCSSSD!
- DLM testing will be occurring April 3 through May 19th.
- On March 13th any teachers giving the DLM who would like to work together to complete "First Contacts" will meet in the Elementary Computer Lab.
BCSSD Spirit Wear Sale: March 13th-31st!!
Teachers: we are looking for Art work from all campuses for our Open House on March 30th. Please give any creations to your respective Team Leaders.
- The Reunion Dance will be held on April 28 from 6-9pm.
Board Meetings: If you would like to present some of the amazing things that you do in your classroom at a Board meeting, please touch base with Helen Scherer.
Just a reminder that medication must be delivered from parents to the school nurse directly. Staff shall not accept medication from parents, nurses or bus drivers. A letter went out to all families to remind them of this policy. Any concerns, please bring it to your supervisor's attention.

Staff should not let any visitors or Source subs into the building at any time! They must buzz in and be let in by the Main Office. Thank you!
Outside food from parents/guardians that is shared in a classroom is not permitted. (i.e. birthday cupcakes, etc)
Thanks for a successful Book Fair! Thank you for all the volunteers who helped set it up and close it down, and for those who helped by working before and after hours on some days. A special thank you to Jackie Willey for all her hard work and dedication organizing this worthwhile event, and to Michelle Stewart in assisting Jackie wherever needed!

Respite days for BCSSSD will occur on March 18th, April 1, and May 13th.
Important Reminders!
When a student is having some behavioral issues and leaves a room. If there is more than 1 staff in the room, a TA even if it's a 1:1 for another student must follow the student. A phone call should immediately be made to the main office, so Crisis can respond. The staff following the student, must keep his/her eyes on the student and know what the child is wearing.
