World Language with Senora McClamrock
¡Hola a todos! Hello to all! Here’s a little bit about what’s going on right now in World Language!
We have been working on colors and shapes in Kindergarten and 1st grade. We have talked about the flags of different Spanish speaking countries and we created a robot out of paper and described the colors and the shapes.
2nd Grade
We sent paper butterflies to Mexico as a symbol of the Monarch Butterfly migration through a project with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service. We can describe the life cycle of the butterfly and butterfly migration. We hope to watch the life cycle and hatch our own butterflies in April or May.
3rd Grade
4th Grade
We are writing to Pen Pals at Johnson and at Woodfill. We can describe our physical characteristics and personality traits. Mrs. Heilman’s class is sending their letters to Spain with their student teacher, so we can’t wait to hear back from them.
