Books Gone Hollywood

Come visit the Book Fair on Tuesday from 3:30 - 7:00 pm and participate in fun activities. This event is for both the kids and adults.

The Book Fair will be located in the library.

Algebra I

Concepts this Week


1. Determine if a function is linear or quadratic

2. Graph quadratics from data and find max/min, x-intercepts (zeros), and y-intercepts

Old (from warm-ups and activities)

1. Determine dependent and independent quantities

2. Determine domain and range of a graph

3. Factoring quadratics


Students will have a homework assignment on Wednesday evening.

The assignment will be due the following day.

Students need to review notes and rework problems.


The test will cover the concepts listed above. If your child is absent, it is important that your child gets the daily warm-ups, notes and homework/practice.

Math Models

Income Tax and Budget

This nine-weeks we will make a budget and investigate income tax and determine how much income tax must be paid based on a particular salary. Students will practice filling out required tax forms used when beginning a job.
