Read Across America!

Celebrating Dr. Seuss

On Monday, March 2, students, community members, and district administrators, forged on the Primary campus to share the love of reading with our students. Over 50 volunteers read to each classroom in the building.

Bronnie Dugan, librarian at Wills Point Primary School, received a special gift from the volunteers from Centerpoint Energy. They presented Mrs. Dugan with a $500 Amazon gift card to be used to purchase books and supplies for the library, along with Dr. Seuss themed pencils to share with each student on campus.

Partners in Education

Kona Ice

Each month, a very special truck visits our local campuses. Kona Ice is a partner in education for all of our Wills Point schools. Students and staff are able to purchase snow cones from Kona, and Kona gives back to the campus. Over the past four years, Kona Ice has helped provide prizes for student achievement, teacher appreciation, and additional supplies needed. They have sponsored our Back to School Fair and Angel Tree endeavors.

The industry's most talented athletes compete in qualifying events all year long in the hopes of earning a chance to rope and ride in this incredible annual rodeo event.
