Kingsmen Parent Newsletter
My City, My School, My Family......NCM!
Week of September 13, 2021 - Week 9
Greetings Kingsmen Families,
We made it to the final week of the quarter! This has been a great quarter as we met our 8th grade students in-person and welcomed our 7th grade students to NCM! Our staff is over joyed to successfully complete our first quarter of learning back where we belong, on campus with all of our students.
As we go into the fall break, students deserve a break if they have worked hard this quarter! If you would like to have your child do some small academic tasks while at home, we have online programs for students to use: Freckle (Math & English), Accelerated Reader (Reading) and Achieve 3000 (Reading & Writing). Students may utilize any program on their iPads.
Some students may be attending a small tutorial program during the first week of the fall break. You have been contacted if your child is required to attend.
If you missed our Coffee with the Principal and Title I Parent Workshop this past week, please click here for the presentation.
On Friday, September 10th, Assistant Principal Currier and Assistant Principal Chaidez presented to all students about preventing bullying at NCM. Bullying is not permitted at NCM and any acts should immediately be reported to the Assistant Principal's Office. Please click here for the meeting presentation.
We hope your child has a great fall break! We will see students back on campus on Tuesday, October 5th!
Please be mindful of the following dates:
- September 20, 2021-October 4, 2021: Fall Break
- October 5, 2021: School Resumes
Thank you!
