Example:
In college, the man took a course on orthography; however, due to his complete inability to spell, he failed.
Do Not Open doors
Do not open the doors for the students in the entry way. The policy is to sign on on the kiosk and get a hall pass. If you are opening the doors for students, you and the other student are not following expectations. Do NOT open any doors that lead outside or to the entry way for anyone!

Fall 2024 Concurrent Class Informational meeting
Fall 2024 Concurrent Class Informational meeting for current sophomores and juniors with a 3.0 GPA or higher will be held on Tuesday, February 20th at 6 PM in the Forum. Those who are interested in getting college credit while still in high school, please attend and bring your parent to learn more!

School of Engineering at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO)
This June, the School of Engineering at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) will host a two-session series of STEM activities “UCO Explore Engineering Summer Academy” for students who will be entering the 8th, 9th, and 10th grades in the next school year. We are hoping to see students from your school attending this academy. We also appreciate your assistance in conveying this announcement to the school principals, teachers, and staff in your school district.
Summer academy IS free of charge and participants can attend one of the five-day sessions.
Session 1: Mon June 03 - Fri June 07, 2024, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
Session 2: Mon June 10 - Fri June 14, 2024, 9:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Our Academy is for commuting students only (we do not provide housing).

Review of applications and recommendation forms will begin Monday April 1st. Applications will continue to be accepted after April 1st and considered if space permits.
Abstract and goals of the academy
The School of Engineering at the University of Central Oklahoma will offer the "UCO Explore Engineering Summer Academy", a two separate 5-day, non-residential sessions of hands-on activities and science projects. The academy will be geared toward students who will be entering grades 8 through 10 in the next school year. The main objectives are nurturing participants critical thinking skills, promoting diversity and constructive team climate while stimulating creativity and imagination. Attendees will work in teams to design, build, test, and improve upon their projects to compete with others in a series of design projects in fields of aerodynamics, steam power, 3D-Printing, Structural integrity, and Mechatronics. UCO engineering students will guide each team, while faculty members serve as instructors.
