Hurricane Ian Service Project: Coin Drive in Support of World Central Kitchen October 11-14

The LCM Student Council is sponsoring a Coin Drive in support of World Central Kitchen. Student Council Members will be outside of school from 8:15am-8:40am this week. They will have buckets that you can quickly and easily drop your donations in.

World Central Kitchen staged relief teams ahead of Hurricane Ian’s landfall. Within hours of the storm passing through Florida, World Central Kitchen began distributing sandwiches and cooking hot, nourishing meals. The organization believes that good food provides not only nourishment, but also comfort and hope, especially in times of crisis. All donations make a difference, as World Central Kitchen continues to serve meals to those affected by the storm.

National Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is coming up and this year's theme is, "Celebrate Life, Live Drug Free." Our Student Council has been busy planning the first spirit week of the year to align with Red Ribbon Week. All students are encouraged to dress up for each day's Red Ribbon Week aligned theme.

  • Oct 27: Pair Up Against Drugs / Classroom Twin Day: Each class will pick a color and everyone in the class wears that color.
