WHPE May Update
Summer is Coming, BUT it's time to think of October Elections!
Hi everyone,
Although the cool weather just won't completely shake off, it won't be long until we have summer weather. With only a few weeks left in school we are all looking forward to summer vacation plans, swimming, biking, fishing, hanging out at the beach, spending time with friends and family. BUT right after summer...is the opening of school and September. You know what follows September, its October. In October we have the annual state convention. AND at the convention we have elections for WHPE board members. This monthly update is going to be dedicated to those positions.
We already have some wonderful members stepping up to run for an open position but this is an open nomination process. If you are interested in running, please get in touch with me. There is no reason where we can't have multiple people running for a position.
Here are the positions that are up for election in October and nominations that we currently have:
WHPE Treasurer - Khyl Berndt has been nominated
Vice President of the University/College Division: Dan Timm has been nominated
Vice President of the High School Division:
Vice President of the Middle School Division: Sarah Horst has been nominated
Vice President of the Elementary School Division: Darci Mick Beversdorf has been nominated
If you are interested in any of these positions, please let me know. More information on the positions are below.
And before that, don't forget about the Wisconsin of Public Instructions Best Practices in Health and Physical Education July 19-21 in Stevens Point. The registration is going live this week!
Have a great end of the school year!
Sincerely,
Brett Fuller
WHPE President
