More information will be sent to preschool and Kindergarten families soon. In the meantime, please call 508-487-1558 or contact rileyp@truromass.org with any questions.
School Supplies and Snacks
Students should bring a backpack, water bottle, change of clothes for those days when things get messy, and a snack. It's also recommended that you send an extra layer of clothing such as a hoodie or sweater. Students are welcome to keep this at school in their cubby or locker. We try to get outdoors for recess as much as possible, even if it the weather is a little damp, so please send students with rain boots and a rain coat when the weather is wet.
If you have questions about school supplies or what students need to bring with them, please contact Mr. Riley at rileyp@truromass.org or 508-487-1558 x201.
Drop Off and Pick Up Routines
Bus Riders: Routes have been posted on the website. Please plan to be at your stop 10 minutes early during the first week until the times become consistent. Also allow at least 10 extra minutes for drop off as our dismissal routines are established.
Arrival by Car 8:00-8:20
Preschool Families: You are welcome to park and walk with your child up the ramp to their classroom and say goodbye at their cubby. Students will start their day with free choice play in either classroom.
K-5 Families: You are welcome to park and walk with your child into the lower lobby. If you arrive between 8-8:10, please feel free to sit with them in the cafeteria if they are having breakfast.
"Curbside" drop off is still an option and we will have staff present as usual.
Pickup by Car 2:50-3:00
Parents will receive a laminated sign with the child’s last name. Please put this sign inside your windshield on the passenger side when picking up your child(ren). This will make pick-up run more efficiently as we radio for your child(ren) so they can exit directly from the building and to your vehicle. Please do not exit your car. If your child needs help buckling in a car seat, we ask that you pull forward to the “Buckle Zone” to keep the pickup line moving safely and efficiently.
