Letter from the Coordinator

May 11, 2021

Hello amazing VIC Families!

First of all, I want to say a big "THANK YOU" to those that took the time to thank your teachers and the VIC staff last week. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful students, parents, and such an amazing PTSO!

We have been busy making end-of-year plans and getting things ready for you all for next year. We are excited that we will be able to celebrate all the hard work of our students and staff this year. Below you will find the details for our promotions and high school commencement. There is also a flyer attached with the dates to return Chromebooks to the VIC. If you have a school device and are in grades K-8, they will need to be returned over the summer for cleaning and to prepare them for next school year.

This is also the time of year that we start making summer plans. Please see the flyers attached at the end of the newsletter for many camps and summer enrichment activities being offered. Thank you for your continued hard work and dedication to finishing the year strong. We are so proud of all of your hard work.

Have a great week CyberWolves!

Mrs. Tankersley

  • Please do not use the Edmentum messaging feature. It does not notify the teachers. Use your VailStudents email address instead.
  • Tutoring is available for all middle school and high school students. Please see the flyer below.
  • Parents of K-12 students, please remember that we do have to abide by the 10-day drop policies of the state just like the brick and mortar schools. This means that attendance needs to be logged. If a student does not log work for a 10 day period without talking with the VIC, we could drop them from the program. This also applies if they are ahead of pace according to the laws we have to abide by. Thank you for your understanding.
  • When you are ready for post-tests or your end-of-semester test, email your teacher for help with scheduling a time.
  • If you are looking to re-do assignments to improve your grade, you can complete the tutorial again to unlock your mastery test for a second attempt.
