A Note From Miss Fisher
Upcoming Holiday Classroom Events/Performances
Please record upcoming events here so we can be better prepared to welcome your families in the office when they visit.
The next 2 and half weeks are busy and exciting for students. Please remember that consistency in routine during this time of year is critical in preventing disruptive behaviors. Keep those #PAWSitiveOfficeReferrals coming!
EVAAS Reflection Meetings
Please complete the reflection prior to your meeting. Please refer to Mrs. Petty's email to confirm your meeting time.
Unannounced Abbreviated Observations
If you are on the abbreviated evaluation plan, Mrs. Petty and I have begun the round of unannounced abbreviated observations.
Vacancies
We continue to look for viable candidates for our three Instructional Assistant/Bus Driver spots (EC PreK, EC, and 1st Grade). If you know of anyone interested please let us know!
Title 1/Cafeteria Balances
Of the families that have applied, we are currently at 35% of our population for Free and Reduced lunch. In order for PES to maintain Title 1 status, we must be at 40%. Also, please ensure the cafeteria balance sheets get sent home with students who have outstanding accounts.
Wishing you well!

Morning Greetings...
Staff are expected to greet all students during arrival. We are working to learn more about our brain states and the importance a simple greeting can play on supporting students’ transition from home to school. Greetings allow students to be seen and when done with intention include the four components of connection. This connection allows the brain to upshift, decrease stress and increase cooperation and willingness. By providing choice (touch/non-touch) children have some control as well. It’s an opportunity for creativity as students can also create their own greetings.
Let us know if you need ideas or materials for Morning Greeting options!
