High Expectations: Every Scholar, Every Day
A Word from Principal Haynes
Greetings Parents,
We remain in crunch time mode as we push forward with preparing our Grade 3-5 students for the Florida Standards Assessment that comes this spring. Daily attendance is important in order for students to learn the skills necessary for this assessment. Please have your child read EVERY night. I need every student from Kindergarten all the way to Grade 5 working hard academically--giving 100% EVERY day. It's not enough to show up to "practice" (school), they have to put in the work on the "field" (classroom). Good enough is not enough. We have to strive to be GREAT in everything we do.
For those of you who have students in Kindergarten through Grade 2, NOW is the time to have high expectations for them. We can't wait for them to reach the testing grades and suddenly be able to do it. We have to build a SOLID foundation for them in the early grades. Talk to your child's teacher about what your child needs in order to be successful.
Let's make this another great week of High Expectations--Every Scholar--Every Day!!!
Wishing you an AMAZING and BLESSED week!!
