Student Strengths-Based Survey
Dear Parents/Guardians,
On Thursday, February 8th, our school is participating in a strengths-based survey to understand the well-being and school experience of students. The survey asks questions like the following:
- If you fail to reach an important goal, how likely are you to try again?
- How much respect do students in your school show you?
- How often were you polite to other students?
If you would like to view all the questions of the survey, please click the following link.
We will use the feedback from this survey to help students achieve success in their education. As a parent, you are welcome to request a copy of your student's responses along with skills that can improve success.
Thank you in advance for your ongoing support. If you have questions, please reach out to us. If you choose to opt your student out of the survey, please email jennifer.dahl@nebo.edu by Wednesday, February 7th.
Sincerely,
SFJHS Administration
Valentines-O-Grams
It's February, and can't you feel the love in the air? Well, if not, we're about to help! On Thursday, February 8, through to Valentine's Day, we are selling Valentine-O-Grams. You can send some suckers and a sweet note to those you like, those you love, those you want to feel special, and even to yourself (no one needs to know!). These will be sold during lunch and then passed out during 7th period. They are 2 for $1.
Also, there are limited slots, but for $5 without a treat or $6 with a treat, you can sign up to send a special someone a very special Valentine Singing Telegram for Valentine's Day!
Night in HOLLYWOOD Dance!
On Thursday, February 15, come for A NIGHT IN HOLLYWOOD! We'll celebrate classic Hollywood by walking the red carpet in our best dress to enter the dance! Come dance, play, eat, and have a blast with your friends. $3 with ID, $5 without. Those who are smart and want to get into the dance without waiting in a long line can skip the paparazzi and enter through a VIP entrance! You can do this by purchasing a VIP ticket at lunch before the dance. These will be sold at lunch February 8-15.
Also, to go to the dance, you cannot have more than 3 hours of detention needing to be served. This week you have an opportunity to get double detention served by coming to Parent Teacher Conferences this Thursday!
