2nd round of JTF 2017 Team Auditions Coming Soon for current 3rd-12th grade students
The Junior Theater Festival is hosted by iTheatrics and Musical Theater International. It takes place in Atlanta, GA in January each year. We will perform a 15 minute medley from a Jr. show and participate in terrific workshops and showcases throughout the weekend. Our students will have the opportunity to meet and work with thousands of other drama kids from around the country. WE HAVE 5 SPOTS LEFT!
Auditions will be August 17th from 3-5. Students should prepare 16 bars from a musical and be prepared to perform the choreography piece taught during auditions.
Expenses for each student will be about $575 depending on hotel expense. We will provide fundraising opportunities for students and parents to help offset the cost.
Participation will involve scattered rehearsals throughout the fall 2016 semester and more work in December and January 2017. You must be able to commit to the entire festival weekend January13-16, 2017. Each participant will be expected to pay the necessary fees and/or raise the amount needed through fundraisers by December 15th.
