INTRODUCTION TO JOSEPH GOEBBELS
Joseph Goebbels was born into a Catholic household on 29 October 1897. He was educated at a Roman Catholic school where his intelligence was expanded greatly. When he got older he tried to join the military, but was rejected for a crippled foot. This rejection fueled his hatred for the priveledged and eventually the jewish. He joined Hitler as Hitler's Reich minister for enlightenment and propeganda. At this time Hitler had control of media, and Joseph broadcasted his own propeganda for Hitler's work.
Details of his work
Joseph published his own newspaper named " Der Angriff"
(aka: the attack) which told intruiging details on Hitler's work, and also invited people to join the military. He worked under Hitler, and also held many of Hitler's believes to be his own. Jospeh held speeches and boycotts to recruit soliders for Hitler's army.
propeganda
Jospeh's propeganda was used to recruit, and serve intrest to the public on Hitler's ideas. He held boycotts, parades, speeches, and even published a newspaper, all for Hitler and his anti-jewish reign. Joseph's biggest propeganda was the Kristallnacht which was the burning of Jewish buildings.
Work with Hitler
Joseph worked for Hitler as the Reich minister, for enlightenment and propeganda. He shared the intrest of wiping the jewish out, and building a greater, less diverse world. He helped Hitler with his reign of political power, by gaining control of the media which helped his work become known faster. As hitler gained power, Joseph got jealous and tried to ban Hitler from the NSDAP.
