New IA "Duty/Backup" Schedule - We have made a few changes to our IA Lunch Schedule (please see above). IA's now have a "backup" in case of their absence. Please let your "backup" know if you will not be at school.
- RTI Data Conferences - Make sure you include your Tier 2 and 3 students into Padlet by Tuesday. Also, please input the DRA's into the data spreadsheet (in shared drive). We plan to look at both documents during our time together on Tuesday.
- PRIDE Celebration - Please send a list of students that will not be attending to Brett before Thursday (not meeting classroom expectations or have had detention this nine-week period). We will not have Related Arts on Friday, so make plans with your team to get in 30-minutes of planning that day. Ashley will be sending out further instructions this week regarding location and times of the event.
- Morning Mile - Coach Swaggerty is out this week, so we will not be have Morning Mile.
- 9-Weeks Assessment - Make sure that you have scheduled your 9-week Math and ELA assessments before Friday (Math 2-5; ELA 3-5). We are still waiting on the following to be delivered: 5th Math; 3-5 ELA. Grades 3-5, please make sure you give the Scantons to Brett by Thursday, October 10th.

Additional Notes
- If your grade level is interested in Kingsport's Intercity Ballet Theatre’s 40th Anniversary Presentation of the Nutcracker as a field trip, please let me know and I will email you more information. The 2019 free school shows are Thursday, December 12, and Friday, December 13th, at 9:30 a.m. at the Toy F. Reid Employee Center.
- PLEASE remember to carry your walkie to the playground and bus wait.
- We selected two new IAs and a new custodian this past week! We should be back at a full staff with IAs soon!
- Continue to remember Charles - he is home, but will need another procedure completed soon.
- If you are out of school during your car line or bus wait duty, PLEASE get someone to cover for you. It is so difficult when someone doesn't show up and we are short handed. It puts our kids in danger when we don't have all the hands we need.
