Report Card Timeline
Report cards sent home with students on 3/4
Report Card Reminders
1) Please let an office staff member (Ms. Brown-Clark or Ms. Walker) know that you need your report cards printed up and given to me.
2) When including student data, please make sure there is a range provided to parents indicating what the grade level expectation is for the assessment (providing just the letter or number isn't enough for parents who don't have familiarity with the assessment)
3) Comments should include a positive statement, data about student progress, and a next step for parents to support children at home.
4) Although parent conferences are not required this trimester, you are expected to meet with parents anytime during the year when they request a conference. In addition, if you are concerned about a child's progress, you should set up a meeting with a parent OR complete an SST packet. Parents NEED to know when their children are struggling.
