PreAP World History Classes Museum Projects
Mr. Pedersen's students created and displayed their Ancient Empire Museum projects in our Library. Many projects included resources from our MakerStudio, including 3D printed artifacts.
Research Database Instruction
The Library spends a large amount of our budget ensuring that our students have access to quality research databases. The Library spent several hours preparing and working with students on database instruction and use. Pictured here is one of Mr. Rotche's AP Seminar classes.
Student Drop-In Highlights
KEVA Plank Creations
Students enjoy dropping in the Library and creating and engineering structures with resources like our KEVA Planks.
Design Challenge
Dawn worked hard to create her catapult with recycled materials and our collection of LittleBits.
Game On!
Schoolwork can be stressful, and students can visit the Library and unwind by playing games, working on puzzles, or other activities.
Reading & Literacy: Our Library's Primary Mission
Yes, Students Do Read!
BHS has a growing reading culture. The BHS Library offers a variety of relevant, diverse titles to our students. Thanks to our English Department's commitment to providing classtime for independent reading, students come to the Library for reading suggestions and selection assistance.
The Library Comes to You!
The Library currently has three Pop-Up Libraries circulating in the building to support classroom reading.
BHS Library Reading Room
Thanks to funding MCEF, the BHS Library will offer a dedicated reading room by the end of the semester. This room will feature student artwork, comfortable seating, and a quiet place for our students to read.
