Jefferson/Locke Comparison
By Justin Lee
Summary
In John lockes writings and the Declaration of Independence, 2 similarities are the God given rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and the right to your own property. In locke's writings it says specifically that you have the power to control your own property while in the Declaration of Independence it talks more specifically about no one being able to take your property from you.
