Welcome from the Director!

Welcome… Bienvenidos…. Bemvindos...to the B.L.O.C.K.S. Preschool at Juniper Hill School and Framingham High School. Thank you to all our families for picking up your child's chrome book and student supplies. These should only be used during your child's remote learning times with their teacher. As you have seen, these are brand new touch-screen chrome books and should be treated with extra care. Please keep them in a safe place so that you will be able to return them in great condition.

We understand that remote learning can be challenging for our young children. Your patience, support, and cooperation in working collaboratively with classroom staff will be greatly appreciated.

We have high hopes of returning on the dates that the district has decided upon. As we near those dates, we will inform you if those dates are postponed due to Department of Health recommendations and School Committee decisions.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Be well and stay safe,

Rosario Alvarez

Director of Juniper Hill School and Early Childhood Programs

Greetings from our Social Worker

Welcome old friends and new friends, to BLOCKS pre-school! My name is Miss Montana and I am the school social worker. I work at BLOCKS on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am to 3pm. I work with all students at BLOCKS which includes classroom lessons, social skills groups, and social emotional support. Even though we cannot be in person, I have created a google classroom to connect with students and adults! The google classroom includes a “BitMoji” room with interactive features, helpful articles, read alouds, and other social emotional components. I have attached the link below. I would love to hear from students and adults! As stated above, I work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am to 3pm. My email is mbyrne@framingham.k12.ma.us if you need to get in touch with me regarding questions, resources, or social emotional support.

I look forward to hearing from you all! I am excited for this school year !
