7th & 8th Grade Retreat

Our 7th and 8th grade students enjoyed their class retreat this week. This two day retreat is designed to create class spirit and ready our 7th and 8th grade students to be awesome leaders for Jesus at school, home and church. Being challenged to go beyond their comfort zone and to depend on their classmates, helps stretch our students and help them to grow as leaders. We are so proud of these two amazing classes! This is a big year for both classes so please pray for them as they draw closer to God and grow as leaders.

KAES is seeking someone to help with after school care

Fall Week of Worship (Starting Monday!)

Next week is our Fall Week of Worship. Pastor Songy will be sharing with us each morning about steps we can follow to Courageously Love Others. Pastor Songy impacted many of our young people over his ministry and we are really excited to have him this whole week. Please pray that our kids will understand and receive the messages this week from pastor Songy and begin courageously loving one another.

Save-the-Date for our Raise Craze Fundraiser

Our Kindness Fundraiser kicks off on September 7!! Here is an intro video so you know what to look forward to. Below you will also see a brief description on how it will work. We will be sending out more information over the next couple weeks, so hold tight! Our kick off assembly will be on September 7 when we'll be informing our students on how it all works and introducing some awesome class and individual incentive prizes for fundraising efforts.
What is Raise Craze?

A Fundraiser We Can Be Proud Of!

Raise Craze is an online platform enabling students to set up secure, custom websites where they request donations via email. During the fundraiser, students pay it forward by completing Acts of Kindness for others.

Here’s How It Works

REGISTER We’ll provide a link for you to register and create your child’s website.

ACTS OF KINDNESS Students select at least 3 ways to pay it forward.

ENTER EMAILS Students enter email addresses of friends and family.
Raise Craze will take it from there sending all emails, reminders, and thank you’s.

Students can spend time serving instead of selling! Have fun spreading kindness!

Look for your Home and School Classroom Representative

Home and School has established a classroom representative for each grade to help create the best possible communication and coordination between classroom parents and the Home and School team. Look for information from your classroom H&S representative. One of the big goals this year is to fundraise for a new middle school playground adventure area. Keep posted for information regarding one of our major fundraiser starting September 1. And don't forget we're currently collecting shoes. Scroll below for more information.

Shoe Drive: August 9 - October 8, 2021

We're excited about our latest fundraiser because you don't have to buy ANYTHING! We're collecting gently worn, used and new shoes to raise money for playground equipment for the Middle School. Not only do you help us, but the shoes also get a second life with those in need. It's a double donation!

Where are the Friday Shirts?

The 2021-2022 Friday shirts are in the office and ready for you. Just come by the office and tell us your child's shirt size. We hope to have the right size for everyone but sizes do run out. We would like everyone to wear the shirt next Friday and we will take a picture.
