Message from Principal Terri Jackson
Dear Woodland School Families,
November has been an incredibly busy and productive month for our community, and we're excited to share some highlights with you. A special shoutout goes to our Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) for sponsoring a highly successful Turkey Bingo Night. The event was not only a lot of fun, but it also provided a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, connect, and enjoy food, fun, and friendship. We're grateful for everyone who contributed to the beautiful silent auction baskets, making the night even more memorable.
Another noteworthy moment in November was the participation of so many families in our parent-teacher conferences. It was heartening to witness the importance placed on sharing progress and building a strong partnership between parents and teachers. Your commitment to your child's education is truly commendable, and together, we can ensure a thriving learning environment. We also want to thank our generous and thoughtful PTO for the delicious meals, treats and coffee cart that were provided on those long conference day/nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the nourishment and appreciated the incredible kindness.
With the cold winter weather upon us, we kindly ask parents to send appropriate clothing for their children to play outside during recess. Outdoor play is crucial for their well-being, and we want to make sure they can continue enjoying it, even as the temperature drops.
As we enter the holiday season, we want to express our sincere gratitude to the entire Woodland community. Your support, involvement, and generosity have made a significant impact on our school. Wishing you all a peaceful and joyous winter break, filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments with family and friends. May the spirit of togetherness and gratitude continue to guide us through the holiday season and into the new year.
With heartfelt thanks,
Terri Jackson
Principal
