Gang Violence
Human Rights Violation
Rights Violated
Gangs have direct effects on a community, such as increased levels of crime, violence and murder. one fact about gangs is that gangs can be organized based upon race, ethnicity, territory, or money-making activities, and are generally made up of members ages 8 to 22 they are the leading factors for growth of violent crimes both on and off school property .Gang members are also more likely to drop out of school, struggle with unemployment, abuse drugs and alcohol or wind up in jail. These factors not only harm the gang members, but they make taxpayers to contribute to welfare and community assistance programs. This is important because gangs are increasing over time and with mostly all the violence coming from gang members its just not good for our community because its also harming civilians, plus it is also violating article 1 which says''All Human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights'' .This means that people should treat each other with respect, which in this case of gangs there are actually not, and don't have care for each other
