Team 6-4 - the Sea Stars News
Team 6-4 students have been learning about space science in science class. They have completed activities / experiments about the seasons, the phases of the moon, and are currently working towards expanding their knowledge of the Milky Way Galaxy. In the upcoming weeks, students will learn about gravity and our solar system.
On May 18th, students on Team 6-4 will be attending a field trip to enjoy a Pawtucket Red Sox game. We will be sending home permission slips soon. May 18th is offering students a wonderful learning opportunity as well as a fun-filled day.
Drug and Alcohol Awareness Day
Come to McCoy Stadium and learn how you can prevent drug and alcohol abuse, with messages from the PawSox team, in-between inning games, videos and more throughout the day.
ScienceAt the beginning of May, students will be designing an Ecotourist's Dream. The challenge will be to design their destination in the State of Rhode Island. These creative engineers will be dreaming big to decide what they will include to attract tourists to their destination. In the process they will incorporate what they have learned about maintaining biodiversity, protecting ecological services, recycling non-renewable resources, and providing on-site energy to accommodate the tourists
The WMS Chorus and Band will perform the national anthem prior to a Paw Sox Game. If you are interested in purchasing tickets, please see a music teacher.
