2021 Year-End Celebration - RSVP BY TONIGHT!
Calling all 4-H Families for the Year-End Celebration 2021. Back in Person on Tuesday, October 19 at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds.

We will be able to gather on the evening of Tuesday, October 19 at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds. Celebrate a great year of 4-H events and competitions.
Premium checks will be available to be picked up from 6:00-7:00PM prior to the celebration or 8:00-8:30PM after the ceremony. The celebration will be include a light meal from 6:30-7:00PM. You MUST preregister to attend the event and RSVP for those enjoying a meal with us.

Diamond Clover - Applications are due TODAY
The Nebraska 4-H Diamond Clover program encourages 4-H youth to engage in a variety of programs, projects, and activities that will enable youth to acquire skills and abilities that will prepare them for success in the future.
The program is designed to reach and recognize all youth engaged in 4-H, from club members and campers to school enrichment, afterschool, and special interest program participants.

Smart Cents
Smart Cents is a grant funded program that introduces financial literacy to youth ages 8-13. This 10-hour program provides youth with insight on how they perceive money, and how to make smart financial decisions with their money.
It is currently being taught to 60 local youth!

Spa Science Workshop for youth Ages 8 -18
When: October 18 from 6-8 pm
Where: 8015 W. Center Road, Omaha
Youth will be learning about science while creating candles, sugar scrub, and soap.

Space Workshop
Join us November 15 from 6-8 pm for a fun night of science and stars!
In this workshop, youth (ages 8-18) will be engineering their own telescope and learning about constellations in our inflatable planetarium.
This interactive event will be held at your local 4-H office (8015 W. Center Road).

Raikes School at Nebraska Opportunity
The Raikes School at Nebraska is a leading educational honors program offering an interdisciplinary education in computer science, engineering, business, and innovation for high-ability students. The Raikes School aims to develop leaders for information technology driven industries through industry and community partnerships, project-oriented curriculum, and real-world application.
A competitive applicant has a passion for computing, business, and a desire to pursue a rigorous education. There are no strict cutoffs for academics, but competitive applicants typically earn a 3.8+ GPA and 30+ ACT/1400+ SAT. High school coursework in math, computing, and business are encouraged. Ideally looking for well-rounded students that exhibit leadership skills and a desire to serve their community.
We recommend students apply to Nebraska by October 15th. The Raikes School Honors application must be submitted by November 15th. Students can submit their Honors application via MyRed after applying to the University.
