Help the Earth Chart - Earth Day Challenge

Students will be bringing home a Help the Earth Chart as an Earth Day Challenge. They are encouraged to fill out the chart over the coming weeks and bring it back to school by May 5th. Please encourage your child to participate in this challenge. We will collect the charts that the students bring in and send them to the Elementary office. Students who participate will be recognized as an Earth Hero!

Change to logging on to NVS

To improve the security of student accounts we are going to change the students' NVS passwords from 12345678 to a unique number for each student. Next week, or soon after, you will get an email containing the new password. This password should be used from then on when you log onto NVS. If you have any problems or questions please feel free to contact me directly by email at pblacklock@asd.edu.qa or through your son or daughter's classroom teacher.

Information From Our Nurses

There are students in your child’s class who have nut allergies. A child with nut allergy can develop mild or severe reactions if they come in contact with the said allergen. Please take note of the following measures:

· Please be considerate of your child’s classmates when sending in snacks (if possible, to avoid sending any nuts or nut products)
· Children should be encouraged to wash their hands before and after lunch, prior to returning to the classroom to avoid any cross-contamination.
· For any special occasions, please be reminded that any food brought in to the class should be nut free.

Please contact the nurse office or your homeroom teacher if you have any questions or concern. Thank you for your cooperation
