Math
Students used their knowledge of long division to plan a trip or design a movie theater. It was exciting to see the energy that students had as they completed these tasks.
Next week Tuesday, we will take our final assessment in Unit 5. (Check the Canvas calendar in case this date changes.)
Science
Why does it snow in Florida? How can there be palm trees on the beaches in Southern England when it is located so far north of the equator? These weather phenomenons and others were explored in our science class this week. Working in groups, students identified which of earth's systems interacted to create these weather conditions. Students then created a weather report and presented it to their classmates!
Next week we will identify how earth's systems interact to change earth's surface.
