THE BIG 4: Targets for 2017-2018

  • Instructional Technology- New ITLT(Instructional Technology Leadership Team) has been established to better serve teachers with relevant PD opportunities and prepare for our launch of the 1:1 Chromebook roll-out.


  • Personalized Learning - slated as a 1:1 school in 2018


  • Progress Monitoring- New benchmark tool TE-21 to be used by the district, graduation rate monitoring, individualized student monitoring for progression


  • Making Connections- Link Crew beginning this year with the 10th-12th graders mentoring our 9th graders and Wildcat Connections is our weekly advisory session to help build relationships.

USA DAY IS THURSDAY!!!!!!!!- The day changed bc the game has been moved up a day due to weather.

OPEN HOUSE- Monday, August 28, 6:30

Students should copy schedules for parents during 4th period on Monday, August 28. They are responsible for giving the schedule to their parent. They may also text or email the schedule. It is simply a reminder to give their parents a schedule.

TEXTBOOK NEWS-------MEDIA CENTER CLOSED MONDAY


  • Students who have not yet checked out their books will be able to on Monday during the first twenty minutes of each class. Teachers will show the students the text and allow them to go check them out. STUDENTS MUST HAVE IDs.


The media center will be closed on Monday.​

What is Wildcat Connections?

This is a great new way for teachers to make connections with students and assist with monitoring progress for graduation.


Students will:

Learn soft skills to help with studying

Learn employability skills to assist with job interviews and resumes

Be allowed time to work on assignments and get questions answered


Teachers will:

Get to know the students

Monitor progress in classes

Meet with students one-on-one during the month to discuss progress

Assist in answering questions

Help students monitor attendance

Survey students to better understand needs and provide services accordingly

Important Dates This Week:

  • August 28- Finish up textbook check-outs
  • August 28- Senior Meetings 5th-7th with English classes (Seniors with no English report during 4th period on Tuesday)
  • August 28- OPEN HOUSE at 6:30
  • August 29- Senior Meetings 1st -4th (Seniors with no English report during 4th period- 4th Period senior students report during A-lunch)
  • August 29-PICTURE DAY- teachers will inform students of the schedule when they report.
  • August 29- SENIOR PARENT MEETING 6:30 in the auditorium
  • August 30- Wildcat Connections Day- Revised schedule (Button to schedule link is above)
  • August 31- Class Meetings 8:55 10th Grade and 9:45 11th Grade- Students will report to the auditorium
  • September 1- PEP RALLY POSTPONED BC GAME WAS MOVED
  • September 1- Regular Schedule bc NO Pep Rally
