What does it mean?

Weathering- the process of breaking down or wearing away of rocks

Erosion- the movement of weathered materials by wind, water, or ice.

Deposition- the process of in witch materials eroded by wind, water, or ice are dropped in a new place.

Canyons

What is it?

A deep gorge typically one with a river flowing through it. It is formed by erosion of moving water and sand.


How was it made?

By weathering and Erosion of water, ice, and wind the water moves through the Sand/ground witch hollows it out, also ice freezes in the cracks witch makes them expand.

Hoodoo

What is it?

A column of weathered rock. Made by weathering of wind, water, and sand.


How was it made?

The wind blows of gusts of sand also the water makes the bottom parts of the column skinnier and then the top part looks wider.

Delta

What is it?

A triangular shaped piece of water going into the ocean. Made by weathering, deposition, and erosion, with water.

how was It made?

By traveling water picking up land sediments.

Sand Dune

What is it?

A sand dune is formed by blowing wind and lose sand. Also deposition and weathering are its names.

How is it made?

The blowing wind moves the sand, witch causes the sand to move and pile up to make the sand dune!

"U" shaped valley

What is it?

A valley "U" is literally a u shaped valley made by the weathering and deposition of moving ice.

How was it made?

A U shaped valley is made the moving of ice taking segments of rock carving a u shaped valley.

"V" shaped valley

What is it?

A v shaped valley is formed By moving water, also by weathering and erosion.

How is it made?

A V shaped valley is formed by a water stream, that dries out and eventually forms the valley.

Dessert Arch

what is it?

A desert arch is a arch made of wind, water and sand. Also by weathering.

How is it made?

The wind blows the sand into various positions, while the water hardens it.

Sea Arch

What is it?

A sea arch is made by the eroding process of water.

How is it made?

Water caves out the rock over a long period of time causing it to make a arch.
