Perseverance--Seeing the finish line and having the strength to reach it!

We have made it to the last 5 days of the SLAM Academy. I am very proud of what we've been doing here this summer. I am excited and anxious for the kiddos to show off their projects this Friday at the Innovation Day!!

Monday Motivation...they'll remember us--SLAM Academy 2015 :)

And FINALLY, what we need to know this week:

*Acuity Assessments are ready. In your bus bags tomorrow afternoon, you'll have the usernames and passwords for your students. You can begin testing on Tuesday. Please limit your extra computer time so everyone who wants to test online can. Paper assessments are just fine, but please allow yourself time to score the assessments. I will share a Google Document to put your scores in for easier reporting. Teachers in grades 3-5 can also use the 2nd computer lab in the K-2 hall. **Remember--kindergarten will NOT be testing.

*Innovation Day--times are set. See above. I will be purchasing drinks and cookies for each grade level for Friday. No need to over burden parents to take their kiddos on Friday.

*Lunch time-thanks for the help maintaining high expectations! Across the board, it is very important for our students to realize no matter where they are in attendance, certain expectations are always the norm to follow. Keep up the strong effort!

*Check out for teachers--I will have a short checklist for everyone before they check out (receive your paycheck) on Friday. The check out list will be in your bus bag by Tuesday, June 23rd.

*Still a few Field Trips this week - Please review your "Nurse Concern" Google doc before going on your field trips. Some of your students will need their inhalers, EpiPens, and/or medicines necessary for a safe trip. Let nurse know if you have any questions.
