Celebration of Life

A Celebration of Life for Carolyn and Charlie Keck will be held Saturday, September 24 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the South Puget Sound Community College Minnaert Center for the Arts, 2011 Mottman Rd. SW., Olympia 98512. Read Carolyn's obituary here.

Book Sale

It's time to start collecting books, DVDs, and CDs for OUUC's November 5 Books, Brownies & Beans used book sale. (Please note directions on what/when/where for donations here.) This year, proceeds will benefit Pizza Klatch, The Kids Backpacks Food Program, and Thurston Climate Action Team.

Book sorting starts Sunday, September 18, and LOTS of volunteers are needed - especially co-chairs and a volunteer coordinator. The 'BBB Sale How To's are documented and long-time chair, Harmon Eaton, is ready to mentor our new BB&B leaders. More information about the sale and volunteer opportunities is available here.

Calling All Green Thumbs!

Do you have more produce than you can use? Bring it to OUUC on Sunday morning to the Faith in Action Produce Table. Members of the Congregation will be more than willing to give a goodwill donation and bring your bountiful harvest home. The funds collected will be used for Faith in Action projects: Right Relations, Homelessness, Racial Equity, Environmental Justice, and many more. Thanks!
