Is Embalming harmful to us or the environment?

What is Embalming and the requirements?

When a close friend or family member dies a funeral process is made. But some don’t know what the requirements are about saving the body, so it doesn’t decompose. What people dont know is that embalming is not legally required by law, but it is required when you are moving the body out the state. Altough some Funeral Homes say embalimg is leaglly required, its not. Embalming is a process in which chemicals are used to preserve the body and make it seem more restful and not as flushed.

Embalming is not the only option

There are also many other alternatives two of them are; Cremation and Refrigeration.

Cremation- is when the body is at a "high-temperature burning, vaporization, and oxidation to reduce dead animal or human bodies to basic chemical compounds, such as gases and mineral fragments retaining the appearance of dry bone."

Refrigeration- is when the body is place in a cooling frigerator to slow the decomposing process down for the funeral arrangement’s.
