Important Information about Frank Door-to-Door Event on Thursday, October 15...
As of today, we have 2 people signed up to go door to door tomorrow night, Mrs. Collins and myself. I am asking once more for more volunteers. This is so, so important. We need as many people as possible. Please sign-up to go door-to-door on the office counter.
If you can twist anyone else's arms to join us that would be great. They haven't had a lot of walkers so far and we are getting closer to election day. If you have any friends or parents you can bring along that would be great. Even former students. I think some high school students have been going and they make a big difference.
This is the schedule for tomorrow evening:
4:00 PM - I will have pizza and pop for you in the teacher's lounge so you are nourished for our walk.
There will be a brief training and street assignments will be passed out at the O'Deer Diner around 4:45 PM.
We will walk until 7:00 PM.
Thanks so much for volunteering to help ensure our students reach their maximum potential. Perrysburg is a great school system because of awesome educators like all of you!
Thanks so much! You are appreciated!
Important Items...
-Third and fourth grade teachers: 3rd and 4th grade should be using NEOs for typing practice for at least a 9 week period each year.

-Our next school safety drill will be an evacuation drill. This will be on Monday, October 19 at 9:30 AM. I have taken some time to update the ALICE questions from our August PD Day. This includes information about the upcoming safety drill on the 19th. I have shared that document. Please pay particular attention about how to sign up for remind.com.
For now, please take some time to review/update the Google Doc entitled, “Alice Safe Place and Cell Phone List”. We will need this information during our Safety Drill on the 19th.
Also, please note: you will need to be in a safe area near a BLT or someone who has a walkie-talkie. You will need to be near a walkie-talkie so you A) know when the drill is over and B) can quickly take attendance and account for all students. If a student is not accounted for, please find a BLT (or a person with a walkie-talkie) and share who is missing.
Please also share the blurb about the upcoming Safety Drill in your nightly emails/newsletters this week.

-I would like to invite you all to participate in the safety committee. Ideally, we would have representation from each grade level/area. Are there any volunteers who would like to join the safety committee. I think we could probably meet once a month for a 45-minute meeting before or after school and talk about building specific safety concerns. We could then disseminate that information to the staff. Who would like to step-up and be a member of this committee? Please let me know if you are interested in serving on this committee by the end of the day on Friday, October 16.
