FTCSC Hedgehog Focus

Nuts and Bolts
On Friday, 2/16/18 at 6:00pm, the NEW District Grading Scale will be added to all 17-18 teacher grade books by Infinite Campus.
Teachers will need to repost 1st semester grade books, posting instructions are attached. BEFORE reposting, it is important to clear cookies/cache from Chrome, please review the attachments in the original email.
DO NOT MAKE ANY GRADEBOOK CHANGES OVER THE WEEKEND!
The grading windows to repost will open on Tuesday, 2/20/18 at 7:00am and close on Wednesday, 2/21/18 at 12:00pm.
Grades 1 and 2:
· Repost your Q1 and Q2 Nine Weeks grade books
Grades 3 through 5:
· repost your Q1 Nine Weeks grade book
· then repost your Q2 Nine Weeks grade book
· last repost your Q2 Semester grade book

The Franklin Township Education Foundation (F*TEF) announces its 2018 Spring Grant program.
Please review the attachment for guidelines and application requirements.
All applications are due by Monday - April 9, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. for consideration.
No proposals will be accepted after the deadline. Our Grants Committee will review each application and may request additional information from the applicant, school administrators or curriculum coordinators, if needed.
PBIS Audit for Acton and FTCSC
Our PBIS audit is coming THursday, March 15th, in the afternoon. This is a pretty involved process and your help and flexibility are most appreciated!!!
The visit consists of a principal interview, a meeting with members (1-3) of the PBIS Team, very brief (2-5min.) student and staff interviews, building walkthrough and 2-3 focus group sessions with Staff (20min. maximum each session). Before/After school, lunch time, or prep periods are good times to coordinate focus groups.
Curriculum
Tuesday: PLC-Grade Level PLC Data Focus and going over DIBELS scoreboard.
Wednesday: Continued Trauma PD

New Educator Resource: Scoring and Rubric Training for Math and Language Arts
Several new scoring courses are now available for educators. These courses provide information and training regarding ISTEP+ open-ended items and rubrics.

The DOE just released more applied skills writing prompts and math examples along with scoring guides and rubrics. GREAT STUFF!!!! Please look through and use with students as you see appropriate.
