From The Principal's Desk
It is a good time to focus on looking ahead right now here at school, with the TPS Board of Trustees having recently completed our School Charter. This is an annually updated document that all schools are required to submit each year to the Ministry of Education. The Charter sets out the goals, priorities and key achievement targets for the school in the year ahead, including annual targets and action plans against the school's strategic goals.
This is a document of real significance in defining where we are, where we are going and the priorities for continuing to realise and develop further the vision we have for our learners.
If you would like to learn more about the strategic direction for our learning community, please CLICK HERE for a link to the 2014 TPS Charter, which I hope you find both useful and informative.

Making Poppies For Anzac Day!
The children have been hard at work supporting a local community effort to commemorate Anzac Day by decorating the Earth, Wind & Fire statues on the Atkinson Rd Roundabout.
Supporting Anzac day has also been a challenge for the children in Y4-6 to develop their needlework skills!
Many thanks to our parent helpers for their assistance in class, and to Lara Markham for coordinating. Special thanks also to Rebecca Blanche for helping prepare all the poppy making kits!
