Valentines News
Each child will need a box to put their valentines in that they receive from their friends at school. Each child needs to decorate/design a box at home. Shoeboxes work the best because you can wrap the lid separately, and it can be taken off to place the cards inside. They are also sturdy and easy to place around the room. There is no official design. The box can be decorated any way you choose. This is not a contest. The only requirement is that the child's name is visible and easy to read so that when the children are distributing their valentines they are placed in the correct box. Students may start bringing their boxes on Thursday, Feb. 8.
If your child chooses to send valentines, then he/she must send a valentine to everyone in the class. The valentines may come to school starting, Monday, Feb. 12th. All valentines must be here by Wednesday, Feb. 14th. Candy and/or treats can be attached to cards. Please let us know if you have any questions!
