2nd Annual Children's Business Fair
Over 270 5th-grade students took part in this year's second annual Plymouth Children's Business Fair! Our young entrepreneurs debuted their innovative, delicious, and creative products and services to a large crowd of interested and supportive customers.
One of the best parts about the Children's Business Fair has been the participation of our high school DECA Marketing students. This year, Plymouth South High School marketing students not only volunteered their time as mentors, sharing valuable insight with our 5th-grade entrepreneurs, but they also attended the fair and recognized a handful of students for their exceptional efforts as business owners with special awards. Check out more excitement from this year's fair here!
Plymouth South Opens Food Bank for Students
We are so proud of Plymouth South High's newest initiative this year! Tucked away in what used to be the large safe in the school bank, now sits brand new shelving built by Construction students stocked with groceries and other goods for students to take home on the weekends when needed. Read more about this incredible new addition here.
Strengthening the Bond with our Sister-city, Plymouth UK!
Our Plymouth, UK friends traveled to Massachusetts for a week of workshops, performances, exploring historical Plymouth, watching the Plymouth Marching Band, and even experiencing an American high school day. Before returning home, UK's Legacy Choir joined our high school vocal groups for a spectacular performance! Thank you to all who continue to make this partnership possible with our sister town of Plymouth, UK. You can view the full Fall International Vocal Night at youtube.com/plymouthedtv.
