What's happening in the library?
Kindergarten Library
First Grade Library
The students loved the alliteration and had fun predicting what would happen next in these circular stories. We created our own class book using alliteration. Visit the Parkway Library website to view our class flipbooks online!
Author: Lucille Colandro
Next, we will be reading cumulative stories written by Lucille Colandro. These types of stories are great for students to practice their re-telling and sequencing skills.
Second Grade Library
2nd grade students have the opportunity to read their way to a FREE BOOK. Students can become a GENRE GURU by reading books from the various genres that we discuss, then complete a short worksheet about the book. Visit the Parkway Library website to learn more about the GENRE GURU project.
