ROADRUNNER UPDATES
Inspire. Thrive. Empower.
Principal's Message
First, let me say I hope you and your family are safe and healthy as you read these updates. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we have been adjusting, like you, to the drastic changes in life during the last few months. I am extremely appreciative of our students, parents, teachers, and staff for their positivity, flexibility and resilience during these trying times. As you know, distance learning for Larsen School is in full motion and there are only three weeks of school left to go. Our goal is to continue providing continuous educational opportunities and practice for our students through the end of the school year.
STUDENTS, the majority of you have done an amazing job completing your assignments and "taking care of your business." Great job logging onto your online platforms, reading daily and working hard on your teacher-assigned activities.
PARENTS, with all the recent turmoil, you have worked tirelessly to be a parent, provider, counselor and part-time educator! Well done! I know for a lot of you this has been an extremely difficult time, but you are doing a great job. We are all part of the Larsen Family, and we will get through this together. I would like to send a BIG thank you to all of the families who sent a kind note to Larsen's faculty or staff. These simple acts of kindness mean a great deal to all of us!
The last group I'd like to thank is our TEACHERS and STAFF. We have the best teachers around! They are true professionals and their entire focus and commitment is on educating your child. I am so very proud of the devotion they have for their profession. The last two months of school closures have supported what I already knew about our wonderful Larsen staff.
Together we are stronger,
Mrs. Guillén
