Principal's Corner - Conferences this week!

Hello Parents and Families,

It is almost testing season, as we prepare for Ohio State Testing!

This week we have our student-led conferences. Please contact Ms. Brewington or the main office if you are not able to schedule your conference in person and need a virtual option.

Plan to schedule and attend MANDATORY Q3 parent conferences through the SignUpGenius link below. Conferences can be scheduled on the afternoon of Thursday Feb 17th or during the day on Friday Feb 18th. Interim reports will be handed out at conferences.

Re-Enrollment continues this week! Parents please complete the 2022-23 SY form if your 7th grade scholar is returning so we can save their 8th grade seat! A paper copy will also be sent home this week, please return to the main office

Scholars can't learn if they aren't in school.

Last Week (Feb 7-11) our attendance percentages were:

79.8% Overall

84% for 8th Graders

75% for 7th Graders

Uniforms and Dress Code

PLA is working on a bulk order of uniforms for all students to receive 2 uniform shirts and 1 pair of khaki pants!

Dress code violations are in decline this week, please remind your scholars not to wear hoods on their head in the building. If students are written up for repeated violating dress code policy, they will be sent home for the day.

Cell Phones and Devices

Students are given a reminder during daily morning announcements to put away electronics and cell phones in lockers. If students are found to still have their devices, it will be a suspension.


In order to promote a safe, healthy and academically focused learning environment at Napoleon scholars must comply with our school procedures and policies. Due to numbers of available staff and space constraints, In School Suspension (ISS) is not an option at this time. All suspensions will be Out of School Suspensions (OSS).

A few reminders:

  • Kickboard is our Positive Behavior Support System. Parents will recieve logins again at Parent Teacher Conferences this Thursday and Friday.


Parents and A+ Families, we need your support! We are recruiting available guardians and family to volunteer on campus. Volunteer time slots between 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. will vary depending on volunteer's schedule available. Please contact Ms. Brewington if interested. It takes a village to raise and support our scholars!

For technology support please email napoleonloginhelp@aplusarts.com. All students know their log-in information, but if there are any issues please let us know. Parents may log in to scholar accounts at anytime online or through the Google Classroom app.

Re-enrollment for the 2022-23 school year has started. Please see links below and flyers sent home this week regarding re-enrolling 7th graders and saving their seat for next year! 7th grade families re-enroll as soon as possible!

8th grade parents, if you have not began your scholar's high school application process, now is the time!
