President's Message:

Friday is an Early Release Day. Dismissal will be at 12:30pm. The PTA provides teachers and staff with lunch on early release days. This week's theme is a Chili Lunch. Pansy flowers and spring bulbs were planted in The Giving Garden this week. Sweet potatoes were dug up, peppers picked and daisies planted. Victoria Baker and Denise Salisbury have been taking students on a garden tour during recess time. If you are interested in being a recess garden guide, contact Mrs. Cancro at kcancro@wcpss.net.

Science Olympiad:

Any student in grades 3-5 can join Science Olympiad and take advantage of this great

opportunity to learn about science and prepare for upcoming science requirements.

We had fun learning about the upcoming Science Olympiad events as well as trying our

hand at a new event: First in Flight

In order for your child to stay for any of these events (1) Please sign and return the

registration form sent home with your student. (2) Email their teacher that they will be

staying after school.

School Store Needs Volunteers:

School Store is looking for a few volunteers from tracks 1 and 2 to run the store on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. if you can help, please contact Stephanie Petty , stephaniepettyrn@yahoo.com

Tuesdays: K-2 kids welcome from 8:00-8:25am
Thursdays: 3-5 kids welcome from 8:00-8:25am
The school store sells little pencils, erasers, fun little school items for kids to purchase - prices range from $0.10 - $2.00, so kids can easily afford to buy something even with a little bit of pocket change. It is located at the end of the main hallway, adjacent to the 2nd grade hallway.

Father Daughter Dance

Attention Parents!

It is that time of the year that we want to start gearing up for the Daddy Daughter Dance which is January 30, 2015.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the planning and work up front to make this the best Daddy Daughter Dance yet! To do this we will need lots of help.


Please send a note to dance@pavlik.us to volunteer. It does not matter if you have one hour or more, we really need your help to make this dance a success.
