- From the Nurse: The Health Department is going to be doing another flu clinic in November. Any remaining students or staff that would like to have the flu vaccine at that time just need to have a sheet filled out. Please remind parents that this is available for the kids. Forms are available on the desk by the front office or they can be printed from the website. If you or parents have any questions please call or email me, or visit the website CDC.gov/flu.
- 5th Grade Music Program Information from Mrs. Lewis: Practices in the gym are Thurs - Fri, Oct. 29-30 at 12:40 - 1:35. Classroom teachers have students lined up in the 5th grade hallway (I will send instructions next week) by 12:40 so that the specialists and I can bring them down to the gym for practice. Pick them up from the gym at 1:35. On these 2 days, all 5th graders will have their specials at this time, and there will be no morning 5th grade specials, so this is considered the classroom teachers' plan time. All specialists will help in the gym during these practices. The classes will not have their regular C and D day special on these days, but will have music practice instead. Regular specials rotation will resume on Monday, Nov. 2, which will be E day.
- The entire school will watch the 5th graders perform "Healthy Spartans" on Mon., Nov. 2 at 2:30pm. 5th grade classroom teachers should have their students lined up by 2:25.

Spartan Tutoring Begins on Monday!!!
- We have transportation turned into Christy at the bus barn for those that turned in forms or gave a verbal consent on Friday when Dee called again. We will be sure to share the names attending tutoring with all teachers before Monday dismissal.
- Tutors, I was able to assess the third graders on Friday, but Fourth and Fifth were not completed. This may have to be done on the first day of tutoring.
- I do have the third grade tutor manual that was ordered for the tutor that was still without a manual.
- Fourth and Fifth grade numbers are lower. Myself and Dee have tried many ways to notify families of the opening and have had some difficulty getting responses. We will quickly move down to other students as we feel previous ones have been given sufficient notice of the opportunity.
- I will be sharing out a Google Form that will have all vital info for Spartan Tutoring-
-Student Name, Tutor Assigned (for the time being)
-Transportation info
-Health Info basics from Ms. Hull--I also have hard copies of all health concerns needed for each tutor in regards to a student you may work with that has the need.
A+ Helpers will be arriving on these days to assist in the rooms of those of you that showed an interest for a tutor.
