Special Announcements:
- HOMEWORK:
2. Finish Extrinsic vs. Intrinsic Motivation on Edmodo (most finished this but I had a few kids forget). Be sure to press the turn in button and post a reply to the assignment.
3. Finish "Own Experiment 2" - once again most students have finish and submitted this but I have a few students who need to submit the assignment.

THEME: THE BRAIN
The Brain:
- Students have continued taking notes. I am so impressed with the purposeful and intentional thinking applied in note taking. Students should have at least 35 notes. Some notes may need to be completed at home to reach this goal. Most students have downloaded this app on their Ipad. I meet with the students each week to help guide in the note taking process.
- Student cited sources on Easy Bib.

Enrichment Centers:
- Topic Study: Students are doing an amazing job taking notes and planning projects. I love the focus!
- Math: Problem solving --- Today we continued our math problem solving - this is tough math but the students are showing great persistence!
- Science: Each science group has completed 4 science experiments. Next week students will continue to design their own science experiments to determine the best materials to raise air temperature. Experiments are student designed and implemented.

- Students learned how to check out books electronically from my classroom library.

- There is a link on my student resource page for students to "Tweet" about the day. We will post 5 tweets a week on my classroom board - some even make it to real twitter.
